Monday nights down at the Rainbow Hotel in Fitzroy, Melbourne have been legendary for well over a decade thanks to Paul Williamson (Tenor & Baritone sax), Tim Neal (B3 Hammond), Mike Jordan (Drums) plus a special guest. In this case, the internationally recognised guitarist Geoff Achison. I haven’t been down for a few years, but the only thing missing were the plumes of smoke filling the joint and Chic, the previous owner, wishing the jazz heads would buy more beer.
